Lewis-Clark State College invites applications for the position of Director of Administrative Auxiliary Services.

Salary based on experience and qualifications:  up to $50,000

Degree Requirement:  Bachelor's degree

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Thorough knowledge of business and finance principles
  • Excellent planning, project management, and problem solving skills
  • Strong supervisory skills/experience in the direction of personnel
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to write and prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Demonstrated success in marketing of a facility, service or product
  • Strong technology skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with campus and community constituents

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience/knowledge of services to students in higher education
  • Experience in coordinating and hosting events
  • Experience/aptitude in use of computerized access control systems
  • Experience/aptitude in use of ID card system
  • Experience/aptitude in use of schedule system
  • Proficient in MS Access
  • Application administration

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new strategies for the department 
  • Train and supervise staff, manage the contracted custodial services, and oversee general office operations, including the development and management of the department budget and capital replacement plan
  • Initiate, promote, and manage merchant and client relationships and provide support to each user of the campus card, for applications which include food service, student housing, student activity center, and vending machines
  • Marketing, promotion and management of the Williams Conference Center (WCC) and Student Union Building (SUB).
  • Administer campus automated scheduling system (CollegeNet R25).
  • Manage software and hardware installation for electronic door access systems and (CBORD) campus card system.
  • Manage and coordinate the use of college facilities for meetings and special events. Reserve rooms, arrange contracts/billing and ensure that appropriate needs of user groups (e.g. equipment, parking, security, staffing, catering etc.) are met.
  • Serve on Administrative Services planning and assessment committee.
