Lewis-Clark State College invites applications for the position of Director of Institutional Research & Effectiveness.

Salary based on experience and qualifications:  $80,000 DOE

Degree Requirement:  Master's degree in relevant field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation
  • Experience with instructional program assessment
  • Experience in strategic and operational planning
  • Experience with data dashboards and use of data for program improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors at all levels, and students
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with regional and specialized accreditation processes and standards

Essential Duties:  maintain and monitor a comprehensive strategic planning process, institutional research functions, external reporting, and a systematic process for assessment of college programs:

  • Provide strong leadership in the development and implementation of college-wide and unit planning activities
  • Assists in the college's strategic planning and budgeting processes
  • Manage the college's institutional assessment plan and annual/long-term program assessment processes
  • Provide support to the President, Accreditation Liaison Officer (Provost), and other college units on matters related to regional (institutional) and specialized accreditation.
  • Support enrollment planning and assessment and coordinate data extraction/reporting with the Vice President for Student Affairs
  • Utilize innovative strategies to monitor effectiveness of the general education core, learning outcomes, campus climate, supervisor effectiveness, etc.
  • Serves as the central clearing house for compiling and disseminating recurring and one-time reports to federal, state, and other external agencies
  • Collect and disseminate data, statistics, facts, and studies/analyses on the college and its programs via multiple media for use by internal and external customers
  • Provide executive support, as required, to the Office of the President
