Lewis-Clark State College invites applications for the position of IT Support Technician.

Salary based on experience and qualifications:  $14.07 - $25.13 per hour.

Degree Requirement:  AA

Required Qualifications:

  • Apple Macintosh support experience with any organization.
  • Formal training with Apple desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications. 
  • Ability to work multiple incidents and effectively manage resolution of tickets.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills.
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited institute in a relevant discipline (information systems, computer science, etc).

The incumbent provides support, installation, maintenance and repair for LCSC's computer hardware and peripherals used by employees.   This employee configures new hardware and peripherals for end-users and computer labs, including operating systems and approved applications.  Creates, updates and maintains reliable inventory of all hardware and software.  Installs or reinstalls software applications as needed.  Coordinates, troubleshoots and performs basic repairs for hardware and peripheral issues.   Assists end-users with instructional equipment in computer labs, classrooms and conference rooms.  Assists with operational tasks as assigned.
